Extend Learning Using Sight Words

In our last blog, we talked about using the animated sight word videos through your subscription to WonderGrove Learn (a selection is also available on our YouTube for free!). You can extend that learning easily throughout your day by following these simple steps:

✔️ Watch one sight word animation per day.

✔️ Talk about silly sentences you can say using the word.

✔️ Write your silly sentences down.

✔️ Use color to write your word down and help students remember it! A good activity is to write the word using each color of the rainbow: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet!

You can use our 80+ WonderGrove sight word videos by

  1. Logging in to WonderGrove Learn.

  2. Find the “Dolch Sight Words” playlist.

  3. Watch a word a day!
